Your business records stay yours.
This policy explains how BahiDash handles information when you use the Android app for billing, khata, inventory and business records.
1. Who publishes BahiDash
BahiDash is published on Google Play by Sky Digi Ai Tech, operated by SKYSP Digital Enterprises, West Bengal, India. For privacy questions, contact support@skydigiaitech.com.
2. Information stored in the app
You may enter business profile details (such as a shop name, address, phone number and GSTIN), customer and supplier names, product and stock details, invoices, estimates, payments, khata entries, purchases and expenses. These records are saved in a local database in the app's private storage on your Android device.
BahiDash does not require an online account and does not operate a BahiDash server for syncing or storing these records. The app does not include advertising or analytics SDKs in this release.
3. Device features and permissions
- Camera: used when you choose the barcode-scanning feature. Camera frames are used on your device to scan; they are not sent to our servers.
- Files and photos: Android's system picker lets you select a backup or an image. The app only accesses items you select. Exported invoices or backup files are created only when you ask for them.
- Biometric unlock: if you enable app lock, Android checks your fingerprint or face using the device's system prompt. BahiDash does not receive or store biometric data.
- Notifications: if you enable the daily reminder, Android schedules a local notification. The app does not send SMS or messages to your customers.
- Internet: network access may be used by Android or a system component to open links or share content with a destination you select. BahiDash does not upload your business records to a BahiDash cloud service.
4. Backups and sharing
You can export a JSON backup or create a password-protected encrypted backup and save it to a folder you select. The encrypted backup uses AES-GCM encryption. BahiDash does not store your backup password; if you lose it, we cannot recover that backup.
Android's system backup or device-to-device transfer may copy app data to a Google account or another device if you have enabled those Android features. This is controlled by your Android device and Google account settings, not by BahiDash cloud sync. When you share a bill, file or backup, it is sent to the app or destination you choose; that recipient's privacy terms then apply.
5. Retention and deletion
Your records remain in app storage until you delete them in the app or uninstall BahiDash. You can remove exported files using Android's file manager or the folder where you saved them. Android system backups are managed through your device and Google account settings. We cannot access or delete data stored only on your device or in a backup account that we do not control.
6. Children
BahiDash is a general business utility and is not designed for children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app's features or applicable requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when a revised policy is published.
